I can safely say without fear of being wrong, that the old film is more terrifying than any history born of Chutney's mind. I'm sorry Chutney and TheReviewTrickster, but we have to admit, the original movie is from another galaxy. -best wishes- :)

Yeah, the original is quite an unsettling story of an alien invasion where the aliens embed themselves deep in people's minds, and make good memories. Somewhat like the Rick and Morty episode Total Rickall. Psychological horror and deep exploration of the mind follows. I will never see the phrase "You're my favorite customer" the same way again.
